North Curve Celtic are often praised for putting on emphatic displays spurring the team onto victory. However, in yesterday’s win over St Johnstone, the group unveiled a display focused on addressing the stigma toward Mental Health.
The group distributed 30,000 leaflets around the ground, detailing their action plan on the front as well as organisations that can be accessed to address these issues. Even manager Ange Postecoglou posed with a leaflet, stating that mental health matters.
The group raised £3933, which will be split between Walk & Talk CSC, Chris’s House and Time to Tackle.
It is an impressive amount raised but the awareness that the group have spread is excellent. It is important that people know that they can always talk if they aren’t feeling themselves and seek help if those feelings do not leave.
