THERE was a huge squash of Celtic supporters behind the North Stand ahead of kick-off as fans had only the passage behind the stand to use to get to their turnstile.
Some fans climbed the fence to go into the cemetery and make their way along using that rather unusual route.
Others, ourselves included had to access via the lower stand turnstiles at the corner of Janefield Street, find a lift that took us into the Executive Lounge and then from there were able to get access to the Upper North stand to get to our seats after the game had started. Well done to the staff at those turnstiles who let people through regardless of where their seat was.
There was considerable anger in that squash and it was getting dangerous.
Hopefully no-one was hurt.
Celtic will need to review the entry arrangements for future games against this lot if their allocation is kept at 800.
That was dangerous, thankfully no-one seemed to panic but there were thousands of supporters walking into each other going from one side of the ground to the next.
Fire Engines were in attendance at that corner as the Celtic supporters exited the ground after the 1-0 win over Rangers which puts Celtic 4 points clear of the Ibrox club who are also 7 points behind leaders Hearts.
