Norwich drop major Adam Idah hint amid £6m Celtic links

Norwich have dropped a major hint about the future of Adam Idah by omitting him from the squad for their pre-season friendly against Northampton Town. The Irishman is subject to significant interest from Celtic about turning his loan stay into a permanent deal.

Now, it appears that the striker will be having a quiet Saturday while his Norwich teammates get ready for the new season.

The 23-year-old scored 9 goals and assisted once in 19 appearances and most of these came from the bench. The striker scored some big goals as Celtic won a League & Cup Double and the manager made it clear that he was a priority this summer. If the player’s social media is anything to go by, he is also keen on a deal being done.

Celtic are keen to offload Oh, with the striker set to sign for Belgian side Genk in a deal worth £4m. This update suggests that there is progress with Idah arriving at Celtic.

Celtic are close to signing Kasper Schmeichel as a replacement for Joe Hart with the Denmark No.1 set to complete a medical this weekend.

  1. Fair price for oh for a young strong fast striker.bringing in idah and Danish international goalkeeper bernardo but it’s went quite there but I’m sure another four players will follow and keep our top players we will hold our own in champions league with a half decent draw

  2. He wants to leave and he is very well suited to playing for Celtic, so he needs to go. You can just tell he’s the kind of kid that wants to play FIFA on amateur while using the best team available and Celtic offer him the best chance of emulating that.
