On This Day: Celtic’s stunning late win at McDiarmid Park

In a game that saw Celtic playing in a disjointed manner, a goal before half time appeared to have been enough to take all three points back to Glasgow with.

The goal sparked pandemonium in the stands up in Perth with the supporters celebrating wildly with the players.

Last weekend, Celtic produced a similar heroic victory at Fir Park. Luis Palma thought he’d won the game before Spittal struck for Motherwell. Then, in the 97th minute, Matt O’Riley popped up to win the game for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
