Happy Birthday to former Celtic midfielder Thomas Gravesen. The ex-Denmark Internationalist turns 48 today and will no doubt be celebrating his birthday well.
As an excellent player for Everton, Gravesen earned a move to Real Madrid in what was quite a bizarre transfer. The move to the Bernabeu didn’t turn out as hoped and he soon made a £2m switch to Gordon Strachan’s Celtic.
Gravesen made 27 appearances, scoring 6 goals, during his time at the club. However, his time at the Scottish Champions is probably best told by other at Open Goal.
