On This Day in 2002, Celtic made it 2-in-a-row after beating Livingston 5-1 to clinch the league title. A double from John Hartson and a hat-trick from the King of Kings completed a comprehensive win for Martin O’Neill’s side.

Larsson opened the scoring after Lambert gave the Swede an easy finish from six yards out. There was a party atmosphere in a sun soaked Paradise and Big John Hartson made it 2-0 before 20 minutes had passed. Didier Agathe crossed the ball into the Welshman, who volleyed the ball into the net.

Hartson got his second after 25 minutes when Steve Guppy’s cross found him to make it 3-0.

Guppy then provided for Larsson to make it 4-0 on 33 minutes. Livi couldn’t get down the tunnel quick enough after a hammering infront of a capacity crowd.

An hour in and Larsson got his hat-trick after Lambert and Neil Lennon combined with the Swede scoring.

Celtic Champions for the second year in a row. A great achievement for a great team.
