Celtic have handed Adam Idah the No.9 jersey following his move from Norwich City. The Irish striker has signed on a deal until the end of the season and will be looking to use his time in Glasgow to help fire Celtic towards a League and Cup double.

The club have decided to give the player the No.9 jersey that was vacated by Sead Haksabanovic when he moved to Stoke City in August on loan.

Idah will join up with the Scottish Champions ahead of their trip to face Aberdeen on Saturday. Brendan Rodgers’ side face the managerless Dons in the early kick-off on Saturday at Pittodrie – the kind of fixture suited to 6ft3 Idah.
