Things are beginning to happen on what might end up being a Fantastic Friday for Celtic supporters. After arriving in Amsterdam yesterday, 21 year-old left wing-back Alexandro Bernabei has touched down at Glasgow Airport and it didn’t take long for a Celtic supporter to get a photograph!
Bernabei here then? 👀
Nice of Jota to take the photo as well… pic.twitter.com/lvsWlVnhA3— Gus (@gconnolly87) June 24, 2022
The Under 19s Argentinian international wing-back will become a Celtic player, signing a five year contract, after the club agreed a fee of £3.75m plus a 10% sell-on clause with Lanus earlier this week. He will compete with Greg Taylor for the left-back spot with both expected to feature extensively, much in the same way Ralston and Juranovic did last season at right-back, with both making huge contributions to Celtic’s triumphant season after the disappointments of the previous campaign.
And then this happened …….. 😊.
One of these will be a Celtic legend, the other is our soon to be (today) new Argentinan left back 😎.

Bernabei is expected to conclude all the formalities today and will be unveiled as a Celtic player this afternoon. Stay tuned…
