Jonjoe Kenny has reacted to his loan move to Celtic by posting a photo on Instagram stating that he ‘can’t wait’ to get started with the Scottish Champions. With Frimpong heading to the Bundesliga in a deal worth £11.5m, Neil Lennon sought out a replacement by signing Kenny on loan until the end of the season.
Hopefully Kenny can hit the ground running with Celtic and bring some quality to a backline that has been desperately needing some composure in recent weeks. Hopefully the move will allow for Kris Ajer to return to the centre of defence, allowing Kenny to slot in at right back.
Kenny has made 109 appearances so far in his career, scoring twice in that time. 48 of those appearances have been with Premier League side Everton with the rest coming in loan spells with Oxford United, Wigan Athletic and Schalke 04.
