Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has joined up with the US Men’s National Team ahead of their fixtures against Germany and Ghana. The 25-year-old made his return in the UEFA Champions League game against Lazio before starting in the win against Kilmarnock.

Now, Carter-Vickers will continue his return to complete match sharpness by training with his National Team.

Brendan Rodgers has clearly been managing Carter-Vickers in his return from a hamstring injury. The Irishman will be hoping that the trip away with Gregg Berhalter‘s side hasn’t come too soon.

After last season’s Scottish Cup Semi Final win against Rangers, CCV went under the knife with a knee injury. The defender fought back to fitness but then returned to the injury list after picking up a hamstring injury, which might’ve been attributed to playing too many games too soon.
