Photo: Celtic fans show solidarity with Palestine with Tynecastle display

Celtic fans at Tynecastle have shown their support for Palestine today with a display in the Roseburn Stand. Despite having our allocation further reduced this season to not even a full section to the right of the goals, the support that were lucky enough to get a ticket were in fine voice.

In what appears to have been an organised display, fans shared their views regarding the current conflict in Gaza with Palestine flags being shown before kick-off.

North Curve Celtic have instructed anyone that can to bring a Palestine flag to the game against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League.

  1. Well done lhads. Fair play and I couldn’t give a shit which group you belong to. This needs done in every walk of life, at every available moment and join the boycott of companies who invest. STOP Israeli atrocities supported by governments from all over the world ! Don’t forget, they are planning the same in Armenia where they have increased substantially the supply of weapons to Azerbaijan under the cover of Gazza, when no one is looking, following the same creation of the Nagorno Karabakh concentration camp and ethnic cleansing of same. Same rhetoric about wiping them out, lower standard of humans etc. from Turkish minister promising to finish the genocide they started in 1915 during WW1 and as I said earlier, before the ostriches come back at this “silly little (one book) boy”, I don’t care where, when, how or who gets, the message gets out. Get it Out at every opportunity.!

There’s the problem right there. Too many uneducated fools who think they know, whereas they know diddly. Go and read some history Sean and come back with the facts instead of jumping on the bandwagons. You might just discover that it was Armenia who was guilty of ethnic cleansing (Khojaly massacre 1992) when they had the back up from the Russians, but slaughtered over 6000.

If you feel so strong, get yourself to the airport and get yourself a one way ticket

Celtic are a football club…not the worlds police
