It would’ve seemed very unlikely a few months ago if someone told you that the Celtic fans would somehow manage to start a spat with the family of a fascist dictator.
But that is the current reality, after some comments surrounding the Lazio game have not gone down well with Mussolini’s granddaughter, there’s probably also some hurt pride after Jullien’s late winner against the Romans.
The Scotman recently reported that the granddaughter, Alessandra Mussolini, wanted a new law invented and the Celtic fans to be punished after a banner which showed her grandfather’s hanging body.

Obviously demanding a new law to be created to punish someone shows a lot of instability/insanity, but the family name isn’t exactly surrounded in honour so it’s not a total surprise.
This banner from the Aberdeen gave a simple but effective suggestion for Alessandra:

It’s genuinely quite intriguing to see where this story goes next, but with the return game in Rome coming up you can be sure it certainly isn’t over.
