Boli Bolingoli has shared a photo from a hospital bed as the on-loan Celtic left-back looked to have suffered an injury. The player, who is on loan for the season with Istanbul Basaksehir, appears to have his leg on ice and strapped up following an injury.

The player signed from Rapid Vienna in the Summer of 2019 for £2.5m. The player was offloaded after breaking COVID-19 rules. Bolingoli decided to go to Spain for one night and failed to quarantine when he returned. Celtic may look to recall the fullback next season if they think the player could be an improvement upon Diego Laxalt, who is on loan from AC Milan.

Celtic have been unable to replace Kieran Tierney since he left the club. Bolingoli was supposed to be replacement but Jonny Hayes, Greg Taylor and Diego Laxalt have all featured in the role but no-one has managed to hold down the jersey.
