Celtic face Kilmarnock this afternoon in their first home fixture after three away games in a row. The Scottish Champions will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table, with Rangers in close pursuit.

After Buckie Thistle and Ross County, the surface at Paradise looked to be suffering. Matt O’Riley commented on the state of the pitch in the aftermath of the game and it looks as if time and a lot of hard work have helped the pitch look good ahead of the game today.

The state of the pitch is essential to what the manager wants to do, moving the ball at pace and creating openings for the attackers.

Hopefully the pitch will be looking as good at the final whistle with Celtic celebrating a victory by a few goals.
