Celtic winger Liel Abada has posted a fawning message on Instagram after meeting Lewis Capaldi at the airport. The 21-year-old Celtic attacker is returning from International Duty after picking up a slight knock meaning that he bumped into the famous singer. The 26-year-old is a well-known Celtic supporter and is enjoying sensational success with his current tour.

Capaldi has previously had a Season Ticket at Celtic Park but given he is touring to promote his new album, getting to games may be more difficult for the singer-songwriter. Capaldi has previously spoken of his love for the club and also an altercation with neighbour, and ex-Celtic manager, Neil Lennon. The pair clashed over a parking space but Capaldi didn’t have the heart to challenge the fiery Irishman over this.

Last summer, Capaldi was pictured with Celtic legend Scott Brown at a local festival and earlier in his tour, the singer played The Celtic Song while on stage in London. During his recent stint at the Hydro, Capaldi played in front of a few Celtic first team players, including Joe Hart and James Forrest.
