Today’s photo of the day shows the old Hampden Park in all its packed terracing glory. 126,102 fans packed into the national stadium for the 1967 Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Aberdeen, with newspapers of the time reporting that 30,000 more people forced their way into the ground without tickets.
The sight of such huge masses of people in attendance as the Bhoys secured yet another trophy is incredible.
