Photo Of The Day: Glasgow Derby At Easter

Today’s photo of the day is selected with a view to the Glasgow Derby being held on Easter Saturday. Last time a derby clash was held at that time of the year, Celtic lost in extra time at Hampden – albeit that was an Easter Sunday.

In that respect it was a game to forget, but the scenes pre-match will live long in the memory as the Green Brigade distributed Irish tricolours and produced a remarkable tri-colour display with the use of green, white and orange smoke bombs.

A great way to mark a significant time of year in Irish history and nationhood.
