Photo Of The Day: The Maestro Celebrates At Ibrox

Our photo of the day on this New Year is an iconic image of Paul McStay celebrating at Ibrox in the 1990s.

The Maestro was an incredible talent who had the misfortune of playing for Celtic in a very turbulent period, rather than more successful sides. Wins at the home of the enemy weren’t all that frequent in the 1990s, but there were some great highs, including a 2-0 victory at Ibrox in 1994, when Paul McStay scored the second.
