Today’s photo of the day shows Celtic supporters enjoying the bi-annual Las Vegas Celtic Convention. Few clubs in Europe can boast a North American Federation of Supporters Clubs, but Celtic enjoy such phenomenal worldwide support thanks to the widespread emigration of Scottish and Irish people.
When conventions aren’t held in Vegas, in years in between, they are rotated around various parts of North America. They give fans from the USA, Canada and beyond a chance to enjoy an atmosphere and see some former Celtic stars. Meanwhile, it also serves as a great holiday for those who travel over from the UK and Ireland.
