Today’s photo of the day returns to the opening match of the season. Ahead of the match, in which Celtic took on Aberdeen, a full stadium display was revealed. It celebrated last year’s title triumph with the league flag design covering the Jock Stein Stand, the SPFL trophy covering the Lisbon Lions Stand, and the club crest in the centre of the North Stand.
The Hoops won the game 2-0 and have never looked back since.
