SHANE DUFFY has been at the centre of a transfer tug of war between Celtic and West Ham over the last few weeks. The 28-year-old defender is likely to leave Brighton and fans are hopeful that he chooses a move to the Scottish Champions whether that be on a season long loan deal or a permanent.
One man that is trying to do his bit is veteran rocker Rod Stewart. The Celtic daft singer posted on his Instagram this afternoon a cheeky request to Duffy telling him to come to Celtic whilst tagging the Irishman in the post.
Duffy is exactly the kind of signing Celtic need, a no nonsense defender that will battle for everything and give nothing away to a big target man (which has appeared to be our Achilles heal at times). Hopefully a deal can get done.
