Photos – Amy Gallacher’s Title Winner on Beautiful Sunday

Yesterday Celtic FC Women became the Champions of Scotland for the first time in Celtic Football Club’s history and that achievement also means that Celtic become the first club to have won both the men’s and the women’s title in the same season.

Earlier we gave a quick summary of how we got here and published our first part of a Celtic Star Photo Special from Celtic Park yesterday afternoon to mark the occasion.

We’ve covered the team arriving at the stadium, walking out onto the grass at Paradise on what really was a Beautiful Sunday, the players doing their warm-up, the pre-match huddle and action shots from the game featuring the title winning players.

Now let’s look at some images of the 90th minute goal scored by the wonderful Amy Gallacher – The Celtic Star’s Player of the Season – and the goal celebrations at Celtic Park yesterday afternoon.

Then we’ll look the scenes at the final whistle at Celtic Park and at Broadwood where news filtered through that Celtic had scored. plus all the post match Celtic celebrations including  images of Elena Sadiku and her backroom staff throughout the day.

Jessica Elliott from The Celtic Star will be interviewing Elena later this afternoon and we’ll have the video of that out this evening, all going well. Now back to Paradise for part 2 of our title winning  day in the Celtic Park sunshine…
