Celtic this evening confirmed that the giant screen above the Jock Stein stand at Celtic Park is currently out of action as a result of the adverse weather conditions Scotland has experienced over the past few weeks.

The stadium had suffered from water damage caused by a burst pipe and while everything else seems fine sitting here in the North Stand the only visible sign of the damage caused by water damage or flooding is the out of use screen. Here is an image of the Jock Stein stand screen and also the one at the other end of the ground that is functioning normally, this one shown first.

A short statement from Celtic announced: “Supporters are advised that due to storm damage the big screen on the Jock Stein stand will not be in use for tonight’s fixture.
