WELL done to Paul, who is our Celtic supporter of the Decade. Celtic played 582 games in this decade and @paulthetim was at every single one of them, and not only that but he’s planning on doing it all over again!
“This decade Celtic have played 582 competitive games and I was at them all decade of dominance by Celtic. let’s hope the next decade is the same,” Paul wrote on Twitter, where it has to be said he does come in for some negative feedback from some of our own. That’s not something that I’ve ever been able to understand. And he’s probably been to 582 games more than some of those who slag him off!
“That’s an unbelievable stat, can’t believe some Celtic fans give you stick. Complete dedication following the team you adore,” James Maclaren noted.
His hairline might have receded over these past ten remarkable years that has seen Celtic win 18 trophies but his enthusiasm for supporting the Hoops hasn’t diminished one iota.
The trolls have been absent today as Paul receives the recognition he deserves but certainly doesn’t seek.
“Well done, that’s some doing Paul and its no including the under 19s & 17s etc you were at.I remember once someone counted back how many games Frankie had attended, can’t mind the number but he had not missed one competitive Celtic game in 35 years. Actually thought more,” @jamiebhoy2009 replied.
Missing just ONE game in 35 years is truly awesome.
“Heres a question. Has their ever been a point in the 10 year where you thought..I’m having a day off? I know the answer is probably not haha,” @Hoidy asked. “Nah I enjoy it haha,” was Paul’s response.
His favourite game of the decade? “Barca night of Wanyama and Watt,” was his reply.
Paul is also famous for having his photograph taken with new signing at the club and he’s already predicted that Victor Wanyama will be back at the club in January – let’s hope he’s got that one spot on!
“Well done PTT you are there and you are always there god bless you,” @Jbhoy1 stated, a perfect way to finish.
So @paulthetim is our Celtic Supporter of the Decade. Congratulations!
