Rangers 0-6 Celtic – Beautiful Sunday! Celtic Women Academy side runs riot in Glasgow Derby

THERE was a Glasgow Derby today on this Bank Holiday weekend and Celtic Women Academy side certainly wiped the smiles of their Rangers Development counter-parts faces with an emphatic 6-0 win!

Here’s the first team celebrating after the home win over the Rangers at the start of August. Remember the game at East Kilbride when the Green Brigade attended and the Ibrox PR made up some nonsense about their players feeling threatened and having abusive songs sung at them. This despite no-one at the game hearing anything of the sort, nor any complaints having been mentioned by any of their players. Indeed folk associated with the Rangers actually said it was a load of nonsense.

Obviously we later discovered that it was a diversion for their then secret problems with UEFA for their supporters chanting racist and sectarian songs against tiny St Josephs in the Europa League qualifiers.

Rather than leave their own racist and sectarian support isolated, make up a story that drags the Green Brigade into the mix. Just about everyone saw through this but of course the press ra with the story as instructed.

Anyway today was the day when the Rangers Women – via their Development site – could get some revenge Although the Celtic Academy girls clearly had other ideas – six of them to be exact.

The final score today was The Rangers 0 Celtic 6.

Meanwhile Millies Cookies at Braehead seem to have upset this Bear today…
