Remember they said Ange was running from Beale?…

Just a few short months ago the deluded Bears were celebrating the departure of Ange Postecoglou. He was apparently running from Mick Beale, or as they put it he bottled it from their motormouth cockney shyster.

Nothing of course could be further from the truth. At the time it was all they could muster as a reason for celebrating as they finished the season empty handed once again aside of course from their prestigious Summer Bragging Rights trophy created live on Sky Sports after the Ibrox Dead Rubber in April. It just shows how desperate they crave success. Oh how sad.

In the end their glee was short lived as we hired a manager of the same calibre as Ange, in Brendan Rodgers. Celtic of course presently sit seven points clear at the top of the table while they currently have that footballing intellectual Alex Rae in their dugout. You just can’t help but laugh.

Beale of course was chased out of town after a dire run of results, assembled with his own group of players he signed for a small fortune. Beale ball burst pretty quickly and certainly didn’t turn out as they hoped or expected.

While the  ‘lucky man’ Ange has taken unbeaten Spurs to the top of the EPL and has just scooped his second manager of the month award in a row. Compare that to ‘unlucky’ Beale who is currently out of a job after being chased out of Govan. We shouldn’t laugh, but we will.
