Adam Idah has reportedly told Norwich City that he wants to return to Celtic. The 22-year-old is currently back with the Carrow Road side for pre-season as he awaits an update on whether Brendan Rodgers’ side will make an improved offer for the Irish Internationalist.

According to Mail Online, Idah has told the club that he wants to move permanently to the Scottish Champions after enjoying a successful loan in the second half of last season.

Idah is still part of the Celtic Whatsapp group as he hopes that he can resume his role in Brendan’s team before the end of the transfer window.

Brendan made it clear that the striker was one of his main transfer targets this summer. Idah made 19 appearances in his second half of the season loan, scoring 9 goals and assisting 2 times. The contribution of the Irishman was brilliant, culminating with his Scottish Cup Final winner against Philippe Clement’s Rangers.

  1. Yous ain’t getting idah yous won’t pay the fee he’s worth yous insulted Norwich with a lowball offer Brenda needs to look for another Irish Tim to sign but I know yous ain’t getting idah without min £8 million FACTS

  2. If Idah thinks being ill-disciplined is going to endear him to a football club he needs to give his head a wobble. Imagine how you’d feel if Matt O’Riley behaved like that?

What happens if we sign him and, in two years time, when he gets bored visiting Dingwall, Motherwell and Kilmarnock, he throws his toys out the pram.

Not that I’ll ever be anywhere close to transfer dealings for a major football club, but I’d look elsewhere.

    • It’s about the hear and now and Celtic need to pay the 8 million if need be and stop being so tight.. we need to keep one step ahead of that mob across the city.. he’ll pay his way I’m sure
