Odsonne Edouard is reportedly being lined up by English Champions Liverpool. The Anfield club are considering a cash plus player offer for the Frenchman with Divock Origi being included in a deal. According to Anfield Central, the Belgian striker will be used as a makeweight with a cash sum included.

Origi, 25, has scored just once this season in 17 appearances and Liverpool are looking to shift him as they plot to regain their Premier League crown next season. However, the player may be unwilling to swap the Premier League for Glasgow even if both Celtic and Liverpool can agree to Edouard’s valuation of Origi plus £15m.

After last season’s scintillating form, Edouard has been linked with a multi-million move from the club since the summer. However, now we have been given the clearest indication that the 23-year-old is planning for his future by joining Stellar Sports.

Edouard has been an integral part of the Celtic side since joining on a loan move in 2017. The loan was turned permanent the following summer for around £9m.Edouard can still contribute to making sure that Celtic don’t go empty handed this season as there is still the Scottish Cup to play for and fans will be interested in knocking Gerrard’s side off their perch ahead of next season.
