We saw the strange situation where the Scottish Premiership kicked off while other leagues were still finishing last season, so it always meant Celtic had to be patient in the transfer market.
The biggest priority was either re-signing Fraser Forster or signing a new goalkeeper ,so that may have prevented the focus going elsewhere, but it finally looks like we’ll see a few new faces come in.
A report from Football Insider has looked at the latest situation, and it’s exciting to see that a few transfers are expected to be done soon.
They start of by saying that David Turnbull’s move from Motherwell could be completed today, but three others players are expected to follow.

The departure of Jozo Simunovic means Lenny desperately needs another centre-back, while the draw with Kilmarnock showed that Jullien and Ajer can struggle when given a physical threat to deal with.
Shane Duffy would add competition and an aggression that’s missing just now, while it would also allow Celtic to go with a back three of natural centre backs if needed.
On top of Duffy, Aaron Hickey is also expected to come in from Hearts. He’s been touted as one of the brightest Scottish talents in a long time and he should challenge Greg Taylor for the left back spot, while he can cover on the right hand side too.
The finish by saying that an unnamed fourth player is expected to arrive, although they will link up with the youth team at this point.
Signing an established centre back and two of the best young players in Scotland would be great to see, so hopefully they are confirmed over the next few days.
