Requiem Mass live link for Charlie Gallagher and details of funeral cortege at Celtic Park

“It was with great sadness that we learned of the recent passing of Celtic Great Charlie Gallagher,” Celtic Football Club.

Charlie’s funeral will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, 21 July and the funeral cortege will pass by Charlie’s beloved Celtic Park and down the Celtic Way at around 11:15am. Supporters are welcome to pay their respects. So why not head into Paradise, fill the Celtic Way and give a Celtic legend the send off that he so richly deserves?

Please note, it is important that any supporters attending must ensure they follow social distancing guidelines, by maintaining at least 1 metre between themselves and others at all times.

“Once again, we would like to send our most sincere condolences to the family of Charlie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time,” Celtic Football Club.

As a tribute to Charlie Gallagher who was a friend as well as hero of mine, The Celtic Star has been telling Charlie’s story over the past week or so since the sad news of his passing. This will continue over the next few weeks as we celebrate a brilliant Celtic Star, a Lisbon Lion and a lovely man well worthy of every bit of applause he will inevitably receive tomorrow on The Celtic Way.

Charlie Gallagher? What a Player! Hail Hail to you Charlie!
