Neil Lennon decided to reinstate Vasilis Barkas for today’s game against Dundee United at Celtic Park. The £4.5m singing from AEK Athens has struggled since arriving in Glasgow but Lennon has opted to reinstate him in place of 22-year-old Conor Hazard. The Northern Ireland international saved two penalties in the Quadruple Treble Cup Final win but Lennon has opted to revert back to the summer marquee signing.

Barkas is yet to show the Celtic support what he is capable of. Nicky Hammond was personally involved with scouting and signing the player so he will be hoping that the big Greek goalie can prove his quality to people.

Hopefully he can start today by showing why Celtic paid a sizeable fee for the goalkeeper as Neil Lennon looks forward to the game at Ibrox on Saturday.
