HE came to Scotland and could’t even look Scott Brown in the eye. A supposed hard-man he had the chance to do his talking on the field. To use a phrase that will get me into trouble with the rest of the team on The Celtic Star, he shat it.

The image of him ending up in the net along with those beachballs was one of the iconic images of a season where Celtic conquered all domestically winning the treble in an invincible season and bookmarking beautifully his team’s arrival in the big boys division with 5-1 and 1-5 humpings.

Of course he wasn’t around for the second humiliation because everyone knew, especially them, that he had, as has already been mentioned, shat it.

Now after he was kicked out of the game in England for a gambling addiction, he is on a no-mark radio show. A radio show that regularly has biased, anti-Celtic output as part of its football coverage. Yes they have Alan Brazil and he is a Celtic man and all that, but he is playing along too.

The fact is that Celtic are big news and mentioning Celtic will get you attention and will get you click bait coverage galore. It will all add up to profile for a radio show that otherwise would have little interest to football supporters in Scotland.

Yet the Scottish game is being insulted by this moron, who reckons it is no better than a Sunday pub league down south. You came mate, you shat it, you failed, you were booted out and you were sent back to Burnley.

Scott Brown, looked you in the eye and you looked at your feet. All talk, no sport.

Chris Sutton had his say. He is capable of being objective and isn’t scared to criticise Celtic when he feels it is necessary to do so. He was outspoken on the inadequacies of Ronny Deila as Celtic manager for instance and was prepared to talk the flak that came his way as a consequence of his criticism.

Later he would say that he was right.

Now why are we even writing about this no-mark you are asking? Other Celtic sites piled in yesterday, yet The Celtic Star ignored him completely. Good you say, so what’s this all about this morning?

Just one thing that needs to be looked at.

Our captain – a Celtic legend – Scott Brown was defamed by this clown yesterday on that radio station. This is a station that our manager has been known to go onto, no-doubt as Brazil knows Brendan and will use his influence to get it all arranged.

Well surely Brendan must now call a halt to any future participation on that radio station?

Stand by Scott Brown, Brendan. The next time they call, just say no to Talk Sport.

We are all Scott Brown.
