Sensational Adam Idah goal voted SPFL Goal of the Month

Adam Idah’s finish that rounded off a sensational Celtic team goal in Perth has been selected as the SPFL Goal of the Month. The Irishman netted Celtic’s sixth of the evening as a clipped Luke McCowan pass was back heeled by Alex Valle into the path of Idah, who made no mistake.

Celtic were electric that night, really punishing St Johnstone. Now, Gordon Duncan has announced that the goal has been selected as the Goal of the Month by the SPFL.

It was initially wrongly ruled offside, which curtailed celebrations.

The move was an exciting period of play from the Celts as three subs combined. All three will wish to play their way into the team and with goals like that, the manager will continue to give them opportunities.

Idah will be hoping to continue making an impact from the bench as he looks to dislodge Kyogo as the starting centre forward under Brendan.
