SHANE DUFFY has taken to Twitter to rubbish a claim that the Irish defender will be joining West Ham in the coming days. The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Celtic and West Ham as his days at Brighton appear to be numbered.
A West Ham fan account appeared to capture one of Duffy’s close contacts revealing that a move to the Hammers was on the offing. However, Duffy was quick to shoot these claims down on Twitter.

Celtic would need to pay £2m in a loan deal fee as well as the majority of the Derry-born defender’s wages. The club might hope that Neil Lennon’s powers of persuasion would entice him into a move to Glasgow.
