Sky Sports confirm Celtic open talks to sign Adam Idah

Sky Sports are reporting that Celtic have opened talks with Norwich over the permanent signing of Adam Idah. The Irishman enjoyed a successful loan spell in the second half of last season, culminating in a Cup Final winner against Rangers.

Now, Sky Sports are reporting that Brendan Rodgers’ side have made a move to bring the player back to the club.

The 23-year-old scored 9 goals and assisted once in 19 appearances and most of these came from the bench. The striker scored some big goals as Celtic won a League & Cup Double and the manager made it clear that he was a priority this summer. If the player’s social media is anything to go by, he is also keen on a deal being done.

The club are yet to make any signings but Assistant Manager John Kennedy admitted that work was being carried out behind the scenes to strengthen ahead of the new campaign. Hopefully, a deal is forthcoming as soon as possible and Celtic can welcome the big centre forward back ahead of the league campaign kicking off at the beginning of August.
