Celtic face St Mirren on Tuesday in the first meeting of 2024. The Scottish Champions won the Glasgow Derby meeting against Rangers on Saturday and will now look to follow up the victory against the Ibrox side with a win in Paisley.

The SFA have confirmed that David Munro will referee the clash. Munro will be assisted by Alan Mulvanny and Craig Ferguson with Craig Napier acting as Fourth Official. Meanwhile, at Clydesdale House, Steven McLean is on VAR duties assisted by Dougie Potter.

Munro has refereed Celtic on two occasions this season – the 3-0 win away to Ross County as well as the 2-1 defeat to Kilmarnock this month.

In the win against Rangers, the officials have come under fire from the Philippe Clement’s team after they refused to give a dodgy penalty. The ball struck Alistair Johnston’s arm but it was clear from footage that (a) there was no clear and obvious error from Nick Walsh and (b) Sima was in an offside position. Rangers have spit the dummy and asked for the audio of the decision being reached between the officials, which totally deflects from the fact that Celtic bossed the midfield and won the game with two excellent goals.
