Like them or loathe them, the Green Brigade Ultras do a hell of lot to uphold the traditions of Celtic Football Club. Whether it’s using their platform to promote inclusivity, highlighting the plight of the oppressed or organising huge fundraising events for charity – the group are always active.
Celtic recently donated £175,000 to local charities working on the front line during this coronavirus pandemic, and this week the Green Brigade, or more specifically the North Curve members, have been putting together hampers for NHS workers.
The campaign appears to have began in Aberdeen:
Members of the group then began dispersing tokens of appreciation to Glasgow and surrounding areas:
The gifts provide a welcome morale boost to those working to save lives at this horrific time.
As ever, the wider Celtic support are always willing to step up to the mark in keeping with the roots of our club.
