NEIL LENNON has named his team ahead of the kickoff of the new season. The Celtic manager has opted to start Scott Bain over new Bhoy Vasilias Barkas in goals for the visit of Brian Rice’s Hamilton Accies.
Lennon has opted for the Scottish goalkeeper despite adding the Greek internationalist to his squad earlier in the week. Although as he has only been able to train for a few days, he has to settle for a place on the bench.
In defence, Kris Ajer is joined by Christopher Jullien in the heart of the Celtic defence. Greg Taylor recovers from the knock that forced him from the pitch in last weekend’s win over Ross County meaning he will occupy the left flank with Jeremie Frimpong on the right side.
The midfield trio of Callum McGregor, Scott Brown and Ryan Christie is retained – meaning Olivier Ntcham must be contented with a place on the bench. In attack, it is James Forrest on the right, Moi Elyounoussi and Odsonne Edouard as the central striker.
