Team’s Up – Carter-Vickers and Palma start

Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Killie. The Scottish Champions will be looking to extend their fine run in the league and put pressure on the two teams meeting tomorrow in Paisley.

There are two changes from midweek with Cameron Carter-Vickers and Luis Palma starting in place of Nat Phillips and Yang.

In goals, Joe Hart starts having been suspended for last weekend’s game at Fir Park.

In defence, Liam Scales is joined by the returning Carter-Vickers with Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor in the full back berths.

In midfield, Callum McGregor is joined by Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley.

In attack, Jyogo starts through the middle with Daizen Maeda and Luis Palma operating as the wide players.

On the bench: Bain, Phillips, Yang, Holm, Oh, Tomoki, Bernardo, Forrest & Ralston.

Rodgers will be hoping that his team can bounce back from the disappointment of the midweek by recording three points against Killie. Derek McInnes’ side won the League Cup meeting earlier this year and the manager will be desperate to rectify that with a statement victory today.
