Tommy McIntyre has named his side for the game against Civil Service Strollers tonight. The Celtic B manager knows that this will be a stern test as they face one of the top teams in the league.

The young Celts ran out 10-0 winners in their last league outing over Vale of Leithen, which takes the Celts to 6th, just 3 points off the top of the table and having played one game less than Bonnyrigg Rose and Civil Service Strollers. Five goals from Moffat, two goals from Joey Dawson and goals from each of Mackenzie Carse, Bosun Lawal and Rocco Vata sealed an incredible victory for Celtic B at Victoria Park in Innerleithen.

It will be a tougher test than the win at the weekend but it’ll be a real test of where McIntyre’s side are.

Celtic: Mullen; Jackson, Lawal (C), Murray, Paterson, Murphy, Carse, Moffat Dawson, Vata & Davidson.

Subs: Oluwayemi, Deane, Letsosa & Robertson.

The opportunity for the youngsters to play regular competitive football will reap rewards in the next few years as players see the opportunity to train within the club and also pull on the Hoops. Hopefully, we start to see players progress from the ‘B Team’ into Ange Postecoglou’s matchday squads moving forward.
