Team’s Up – Clement names Rangers XI for Glasgow Derby

Rangers manager Philippe Clement has named his starting XI for this afternoon’s Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park.

In goals, Jack Butland starts.

In defence, James Tavernier starts at right back with Jefte at left back. John Souttar and Propper start in the central pairing.

Rangers will go with a middle three consisting of Diomande, Barron and Sterling.

Dessers starts through the middle with Cerny and Matondo out wide.

On the bench: Kelly, Lawrence, Kasanwirjo, Balogun, Igamane, Raskin, McCausland, Fraser & Danilo.

Meanwhile, the Champions have made two changes from the side that won in Paisley with Nicolas Kühn and Kyogo coming in from the start.

Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, Hatate, Bernardo, Kuhn, Maeda, Kyogo.

Subs: Sinisalo, Trusty, Palma, Idah, Valle, McCowan, Engels, Forrest, Ralston.

  1. Looking like sterling has been given the job of man marking Calmac?
    Only see the scum trying to play a counter attacking game, with the usual diving for set plays, as there goal threats?
    Still shouldn’t be no where near enough to be able to match our far superior quality?
    Yet we still have to make there extra assistance from cheating officials, none relevant all the same?
    But with cheating Beaton wanting to be the star performer for the scum, we can’t afford to be complacent either imo?
