The Ross County manager Derek Adams has named his team for this afternoon’s cinch Premiership game against Celtic. The Dingwall outfit arrive in Glasgow after a humbling against Championship side Partick Thistle put them out of the Scottish Cup last weekend.
Adams, who has been critical of the standard of Scottish football since returning from England, will be hoping to frustrate the Scottish Champions. The County team is as below:
Ross County: Wickens, Brown, Nightingale, Ayina, Borthwick-Jackson, Loturi, Khela, King, Dhanda, Jenks, Murray.
Subs: Laidlaw, Sims, Sheaf, Harmon, Henderson, White, Brophy, Reid.
Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers will look to open up the five point gap on Rangers again after they won in Paisley. The Irishman has made three changes from the side that beat Buckie Thistle with CCV, Callum McGregor and Alexandro Bernabei coming in to start.
Celtic: Hart, A.Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Bernabei, McGregor, O’Riley, Bernardo, Abada, Palma, Kyogo.
Subs: Bain, Kühn, Turnbull, Holm, Nawrocki, Vata, Ralston, Welsh, M.Johnston.
Both Celtic and County will wear black armbands for former Celt Stuart Gray, who passed away after illness. Gray was 50 years old and made 32 appearances for Celtic in the 1990s. Gray also portrayed his dad, Eddie Gray, in the 2009 film ‘The Damned United’.
