NEIL LENNON has named his side for tonight’s game versus Sarajevo in the Europa League Play-Off round. The Scottish Champions will kick off against the Bosnians in a one-legged tie with the winners taking a place in tomorrow’s draw for the group stages.
The manager has been forced into making a couple of changes to his squad with James Forrest and Albian Ajeti dropping out of the squad that made the trip to Riga last week. Although he does receive a boost as Christopher Jullien returns to the squad.
In goals, Vasilis Barkas will be hoping to build on the two clean-sheets that he has earned in the last two games.
Shane Duffy, Nir Bitton, Kris Ajer will play as a back three.
Greg Taylor and Jeremie Frimpong will play in wingback roles.
Callum McGregor, Scott Brown and Ryan Christie make up the midfield trio.
With Moi Elyounoussi and Odsonne Edouard starting up top.
On the bench for Celtic: Scott Bain, Christopher Jullien, Patryk Klimala, Leigh Griffiths, David Turnbull, Olivier Ntcham and Hatem Abd Elhamed.
The game will kick off at 7pm Celtic Park time in the Bosnian city of Zenica. The Bilino Polje stadium is home to NK Celik, which will hopefully be a good sign.
Earlier today, Ferencvaros drew Liverpool, Ajax and Midtylland in the Champions League in what looks like a huge missed opportunity for Champions League progression for Neil Lennon’s side.
