Team’s Up – Full debut for American wingback Hana Kerner but no Jacynta

Team news from Meadowbank has just arrived and Fran Alonso is giving a first start to American wing-back Hana Kerner but there’s no sign of Celtic’s Player of the Year Jacynta, who curiously has been in and out of the starting eleven over the past few weeks and isn’t even on the bench today. Perhaps there’s an injury concern or maybe just a well earned day off for the Australian play-maker?

Celtic will be looking for a comfortable win over minnows Boroughmuir Thistle but anything can happen in a Scottish Cup tie as the likes of Motherwell, Livingston and of course Aberdeen have found out in the mens game this season.

Tajornar is in goals, the back three looks like being Caitlin Hayes, who has the captain’s armband, Otto and Craig.  Kerner and Bowie are the wing-backs with Robertson and perhaps Gallacher in the middle of the park.   Up top there’s Fergusson, Menglu and McAneny.

Subs today are O’Rirdan, Ross, Clark, Flint, Goldie and Halliday.
