Ange Postecoglou has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Dundee. The visitors from Dens Park arrive with ex-Celt Mark McGhee in charge for the first time after he agreed to replace James McPake. Celtic, meanwhile, will be keen to bounce back from the Europa Conference League Play-Off first leg defeat to Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night.

The defeat will definitely have spurred the manager on to inspire his players to put Dundee to the sword and pick up all three points.

In goals, Joe Hart starts.

In defence, Cameron Carter-Vickers starts with Carl Starfelt as the central pairing with Tony Ralston starting at RB and Josip Juranovic at LB.

In midfield, Callum McGregor starts in the base of Celtic’s midfield. The captain is joined by Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley.

In attack, Daizen Maeda and Jota start on the wings with Giorgos Giakoumakis through the middle.

On the bench: Bain; Taylor, Jullien, Bitton, Abada, Rogic, Ideguchi, Forrest, Karamoko.

Greg Taylor and Tom Rogic drop out along with Liel Abada from the defeat during the week. All players could’ve done more and the manager has opted to let them sit on the bench for the game this afternoon.
