Team’s Up – Maresca names Chelsea team for Celtic clash

Enzo Maresca has named his Chelsea team for this evening’s friendly game against Celtic. The Stamford Bridge outfit drew their opening pre-season clash with Wrexham and will be looking to test themselves against Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Maresca has named a strong team as he looks to get the best out of his squad, which he has inherited since assuming the role as manager with the London side.

Chelsea XI: Sanchez, James, Fofana, Badiashille, Colwill, Lavia, Chukwuemaeka, Nkunku, Madueke, Mudryk, Guiu.

Subs: Beach, Bergstrom, Tosin, Veiga, Acheampong, Gusto, Chilwell, Santos, Uguchukwu, George, Broja, Sterling, Angelo.

Elsewhere, Brendan has named his team for the game as he looks to channel the spirit of the Fighting Irish.

Celtic XI: Schmeichel, Ralston, CCV, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate, Forrest, Maeda, Kyogo.

Subs: Sinisalo, Bain, Lagerbielke, Palma, Yang, Holm, Kobayashi, Kwon, Anderson, Lawal, Murray, Dede, Welsh, Donovan, Turley, Johnston.

There is no Nicolas Kuhn after he terrorised Man City during the week. The German scored twice and assisted once but picked up a slight knock which has ruled him out.
