Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Semi Final against Aberdeen. Rodgers, who beat the Pittodrie side to win his first Scottish Cup in 2017, will be hoping to make the return to Hampden.
The manager has decided to bring Callum McGregor back into the team at the expense of Tomoki Iwata along with Liam Scales, who replaces Maik Nawrocki.
In goals, Joe Hart starts.
In defence, Scales partners Cameron Carter-Vickers with Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor in the fullback berths.
In midfield, CalMac returns to start alongside Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley.
In attack, Yang starts on the left with Nicolas Kuhn on the right with Kyogo through the middle.
Subs: Bain, Palma, Idah, Nawrocki, Tomoki, Bernardo, Kelly, Ralston & Forrest.
Elsewhere, Aberdeen interim boss Peter Leven has named his side for the game.
Aberdeen: Roos; Devlin, Gartenmann, Macdonald, Devlin; Barron, McGrath, Clarkson; Polvara, Duk, Miovski.
Subs: Doohan, Jensen, Phillips, Sokler, Morris, Duncan, Milne, Hoilett, Rubezic.
I wouldn’t trust Rodgers to pick his own nose. Kuhn – hopeless. Yang – hopeless
McGregor – big gamble Scales – gamble
Taylor – can’t defend.
