Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Kilmarnock. Celtic lost the first meeting between the sides at Rugby Park in the League Cup but won in the league meeting at Celtic Park.

In goals, Joe Hart will continue. In defence, Nat Phillips comes in to partner Liam Scales with Cameron Carter-Vickers not being risked. Greg Taylor and Alistair Johnston will start in the full back berths.

In midfield, Rodgers has gone with an unchanged trio of Tomoki Iwata, Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley.

In attack, Oh will continue with Mikey Johnston and Luis Palma completing the front three.

On the bench: Bain, Kyogo, Yang, Turnbull, Nawrocki, Bernardo, Bernabei, Forrest, Ralston

Hopefully the decision to leave Carter-Vickers out is a precaution and not related to the fact he was subbed against Hibs during the week. After the game, Brendan said that he had felt tightness in his hamstring but that the substitution was a precaution.

Killie have a fine home record, despite losing last weekend to Hearts. Derek McInnes’ side won up at Pittodrie on Wednesday night.
