The Celtic Story brilliantly told using Subbuteo

Celtic Supporters find many ways to celebrate their love for our football club and the retain the legendary stories of our club’s fantastic, unbroken history stretching all the way back to 1888. There are numerous artists who do an outstanding job in creating outstanding Celtic imagery and artwork and these are all very popular with the support  However this example is pretty unique with Subbuteo being used to tell the Celtic story.

From Jimmy McGrory to Ange Postecoglou via the likes of Jock Stein, Billy McNeill and Jimmy Johnstone, moving on to Kenny Dalglish and Danny McGrain then into the new millennium with Martin O’Neill, Hartson, Sutto and of course the King of Kings Henrik Larsson. Scott Brown and the Birth of the Broony and Moussa Dembele’s skelping hat-trick, the first against a Rangers club since Harry Hood’s against the old club (incidentally Matt Corr’s outstanding biography, Harry Hood, Twice as Good is out at the end of next month, there’s a cover preview below)…

So here are some of the highlights from the unbroken Celtic story told using Subbuteo as an art, enjoy…
