Celtic go into Sunday’s Scottish Cup Semi-Final with the League Cup already in the bag and the League title 99.9% secured. There are thus no real important matches to be played on the domestic scene, beyond the Scottish Cup. This Sunday is the biggest game which remains this season, with victory putting one hand on the trophy.

Indeed, the other Semi Final contains two Championship teams, which means either Celtic or theRangers would be hot favourites going into the Final. Although, that game in itself would be a second massive fixture in the remaining matches this season as football is a funny old game that often throws up surprises.

Whatever happens, Ange Postecoglou and his Celtic team have had a phenomenal, potentially record breaking season. But Ange’s vow was to come back bigger and better this term, which would be proved by securing a treble after lifting the double last year.

This is the biggest remaining game of the campaign and the first of hopefully two massive matches. History can be made with one last push over the finishing line.
